Rene Caisse was a nurse who began using this herbal formula in 1922 to treat individuals with abnormal cell growth. Essiac (Cassie spelled backwards) is an Ojibway Indian herbal formula. Caisse never claimed that it was a cure for abnormal cell growth, but that it stimulates the body's own self-healing capabilities. She noticed that when it was taken prior to surgery, there was less danger of metastases and recurrence, as well as easier removal of the abnormal growths.

SUGGESTED USAGE 6-30 drops, 1-3 times per day, preferably 2 hours before meals or upon rising and again at bedtime. Dose can be increased for short periods of time and then reduced as needed.
