Lysine helps to inhibit the growth of viruses and may be used in the treatment of herpes simplex virus. It is necessary for calcium absorption and for the formation of collagen (collagen is a fibrous protein which makes up bone, cartilage and other connective tissue). Vitamin C is also necessary for collagen formation, and a deficiency in either of these results in poor healing wounds and a greater susceptibility to infections. Lysine is necessary for the production of Carnitine.

SUGGESTED USAGE As a dietary supplement, take 1-2 capsules 1-3 times daily, in the morning or between meals or at bedtime. Best taken 6 months and rest six months.
