Angelica is believed to be native to Syria where it then spread and naturalized in cool, European climates.
The root is harvested in autumn of the plants first year, dried rapidly and placed in an air-tight container. This process ensures the product will retain it's medicinal properties.
SUGGESTED USAGE To use as a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb, cover and steep 3-5 minutes.
Not to be used during pregnancy. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
