PRODUCT REVIEW
It has been generally thought that the Cherry was brought over to Rome from northeastern Anatolia (historically known as the Pontus region) in 72 BC. From Rome this sweet aromatic drupe was first imported to Europe from Cerasus during the Roman times.  
 
Unfortunately by the Middle Ages Cherries had disappeared from England only to be happily reestablished at Tyneham, near Sittingbourne in Kent by the orders of HenryVIII, who had the honor of tasting them in Flanders.
