Extracted from the Cacao bean, Cocoa Butter is the pale yellow, edible vegetable fat that is used to make chocolate (which explains why it has a mild chocolate flavor and aroma).
Besides being applied on your skin as a moisturizer, Cocoa Butter is also used to treat skin conditions (like eczema and dermatitis), prevent and treat stretch marks while promoting feelings of relaxation and well-being, relieving stress as well as boosting your immune system.
SUGGESTED USAGEAdd 50 grams of Cocoa Butter, 25 grams of Sweet Almond Oil, essential oil of your choice, and perhaps some food coloring for a perfect cream or put it in your bath for a delicious bath melt (just be careful when you get out of your bathtub since these melts can make your tub very slippery).
Mix together 8 ounces Cocoa Butter, a tablespoon Jojoba Oil, ½ a teaspoon of Vitamin E Oil (most preferably T-50 or T-80), and ¼ teaspoon of your favorite essential oil to make whipped Cocoa Butter.
You can even mix 16 ounces Coconut Oil, 18 ounces Olive Oil, 16 ounces Palm Oil, 4 ounces Cocoa Butter, and 16 ounces tallow together to make your own Cocoa Butter soap; you can also make your own lip balm by mixing together an ounce of Olive Oil, .3 ounces Lanolin Oil, .4 ounces Cocoa Butter, .4 ounces Beeswax along with your favorite flavor oil and stevia for taste. Keep this butter out of the reach of children and pets.
